Subscription Billing Calculator

Three things every tiffin or mess owner ends up doing on a calculator app at some point: pricing a plan, working out a mid-month join or refund, and guessing next month's revenue. This does all three in one place, and keeps nothing but your numbers in this browser.

What should the plan cost?

Multiply your selling price per meal across a real billing month.

This is a back-of-envelope projection. It doesn't know who's actually paid yet. TiffinCloud tracks real renewals and sends payment reminders automatically, at zero commission on what your customers pay you.

The proration math, spelled out

Proration is just the plan price divided by the number of days in that billing cycle, multiplied by the days actually being billed for. A ₹2,340 monthly plan on a 30-day cycle works out to ₹78 a day. Someone joining on day 11 owes for the remaining 20 days, or ₹1,560, not the full month.

The same math runs backward for a refund: someone who paused for 5 days out of 30 gets those 5 days' worth back, whatever that comes to on their plan.

Doing this by hand for one customer is fine. Doing it for eighty customers with eighty different join dates is exactly the kind of thing that should happen automatically. That's the whole reason TiffinCloud's renewals track this per customer instead of per spreadsheet row.
