These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TiffinCloud ("we," "us," "TiffinCloud") covering your use of the TiffinCloud website, dashboard, and customer portal (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who this is for
TiffinCloud is built for people running a tiffin, mess, or home-kitchen delivery business ("you," the "Organization"). You need to be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to sign up. You're responsible for the account information you give us being accurate, and for anyone on your team you give access to your dashboard.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone's gotten in who shouldn't have, let us know at [email protected] as soon as you can.
3. What TiffinCloud does
TiffinCloud is software that helps you run the operations side of your kitchen:
- A kitchen prep board, delivery runs, and container tracking
- Customer and subscription management
- Payment reminders and basic bookkeeping
- A branded customer portal your own customers can log into with a WhatsApp/SMS code
We don't process payments between you and your customers, and we never take a cut of what they pay you — that money goes straight to you, by cash or your own UPI/bank details. What you pay us is a separate, flat subscription fee for the software itself.
4. Your customers, and their data
This part matters, so we're spelling it out: your tiffin business has its own customers ("Customers") — the people you deliver food to. When you add a Customer's name, phone number, address, or order history to TiffinCloud, or when a Customer logs into your branded portal, that information is stored and processed by us, but it belongs to you and your business, not to TiffinCloud.
You're responsible for your relationship with your own Customers — the food, the delivery, pricing, and anything you promise them. You're also responsible for having the right to collect and use their information (for example, telling them you'll be sending WhatsApp order reminders) under whatever laws apply to your business. We're responsible for storing that data securely and only using it to run the Service for you — see our Privacy Policy for how that works.
5. Plans, billing, and cancelling
Paid plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial and no card is required to start one. You can cancel anytime from your account — cancelling stops future billing, but we don't refund the current billing period once it's been charged. We'll always tell you before changing what a plan costs going forward; changes don't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
6. Acceptable use
Pretty standard stuff — please don't:
- Use TiffinCloud for anything illegal or fraudulent
- Try to break into accounts or systems that aren't yours
- Send spam, or use the WhatsApp/SMS features to harass anyone
- Resell or share your account access with people outside your business
- Try to copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape the software itself
If we see an account being used this way, we can suspend or close it — we'll always try to reach out first unless there's a safety or legal reason not to.
7. Your content, our software
Your business data — menu, pricing, Customer list, order history — is yours. By using the Service, you're giving us permission to host and process that data only so we can run TiffinCloud for you. The TiffinCloud software, design, and branding belong to us, and using the Service doesn't give you any ownership over it.
8. Keeping the lights on
We work hard to keep TiffinCloud up and running, but we can't promise it'll never go down, and we may add, change, or remove features over time. If we're planning something that materially affects how you use the Service, we'll try to give you notice first.
9. No guarantees, limited liability
TiffinCloud is provided "as is." We're a software tool for running your business — we're not responsible for the food you cook, the deliveries you make, or disputes between you and your Customers. To the extent the law allows it, our total liability to you for anything related to the Service is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the issue came up.
10. Ending your account
You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or that's been inactive for a long time. You can export your Customers, orders, and payment history to CSV any time from Settings before you go — see the Privacy Policy for how long we keep data after that.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — if we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is a big one, we'll try to let you know directly. Using TiffinCloud after an update means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, and any disputes arising from them will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
